Acting icon Julia Stiles is a lot of cool things: a new director, a proud boy mom, and a songbird for her boys. In fact, for her new film, Wish You Were Here, she spoke about a bunch of things she’s done recently, including how often she sings out loud with her sons.
In a recent interview with People for One Last Thing, the Save the Last Dancestar talked about the “last time I sang out loud,” and it’s such a sweet mommy moment.
“I have three little kids, so they all have their own [music],” she said to the outlet, also revealing what song her sons get. “My oldest son is Strummer, and he gets Clash songs; my middle son is Arlo, so I sing a lot of Arlo Guthrie; and my youngest is Henry, so I started singing Henry Mancini’s ‘The Pink Panther’ to him. They aren’t sick of hearing me yet.”
So not only are we freaking out about the fact that she finally revealed what her third child’s name is (we love a classic like Henry), but we love that she has theme songs for each of them!
For those who don’t know, Stiles met her future husband, Preston J. Cook. back in 2014 while he was a camera assistant on the movie Blackway. They got engaged in 2015, and then married in 2017.
They have since welcomed three sons: Strummer, born in 2017, Arlo, born in 2022, and Henry, born in 2023.
