Kendra Wilkinson has always been a proud mom of two, but her latest posts show she’s a proud sports mom. In 2025, she’s been all about sharing herself with her fans, from the good, and the bad, to the super-honest. And now, she’s being open about what type of mama she wants to continue being: a basketball mama.
On Jan 30, Wilkinson gave another update to her 2025 mental health journey, showing fans how she’s progressed in this year so far. “Lost a few lbs already and have only had one champagne since the start of my venture. The key for me is to not be so hard on myself, simply feel good and to not burn out feeling pressure to look a certain way,” she said in the Instagram caption. “I am happy the way I am but just need to stay positive and mindful. Stay focused on selling homes and being a basketball mama. I do feel like having a glass of wine tonight though…so I will enjoy one. 🍷”
Not only do we love the self-care post, showing how confident and great she looks at the gym, but we adore hearing how much she treasures being a “basketball mama.”
Both of her children are big sports fanatics, with both having a big love for basketball. In fact, she’s shown glimpses of how both of her children Hank Jr and Alijah are doing amid the season; and it’s clear it’s a great bonding activity for the family!
For those who don’t know, Wilkinson and Baskett were married from 2009 to 2018, and welcomed two children during their marriage: Henry Randall “Hank” Baskett IV, born Dec 2009, and Alijah Mary Baskett, born in May 2014.
In a previous clip obtained by People, Wilkinson talked about this some more, saying, “Balancing work and kids is hard work but I’m 36 now, not 19 — the girl you saw dancing around on the tables — anymore. I’m not. I have a different mind frame.” She added, “I want to respect myself. I want to love myself. I want to take care of my two kids. I want to be a little bit more disciplined.
