And then, someone filmed a now-viral TikTok that has everyone laughing at their sweet dynamic.
In a TikTok posted by Paris Match at the Hugo Boss event, we can see Harper and David hanging out, with David then trying to kiss his daughter. And in true teenage fashion, she completely swerved him. In the five-second video, we see he tries to kiss her on the lips, and she adorably swerves back.
He tries to kiss her on the cheek, to which she playfully swerves again and mocks him with a sarcastic kissy face right back. While laughing throughout the interaction, David does end up kissing her on the cheek, ending this adorable interaction.
This shows that even during a high-end, luxury event, this father-daughter duo keeps it light and silly!
For those who don’t know, Victoria Beckham and David married in 1999 after getting together in 1997. Since then, they’ve welcomed four children named Brooklyn, born in 1999, Romeo, born in 2002, Cruz, born in 2005, and Harper, born in 2011.
While accepting the Crystal Award for his cultural impact and humanitarianism, David talked about his daughter, and how he hopes she has a life full of love and opportunity. “I want Harper to grow up in a world where being a girl doesn’t determine what you can do, where you can go, or who you can become,” he said. “[Girls need] opportunities, collective action, and investment.”
