While Ivanka Trump said back in 2023 that she wouldn’t be involved with politics again, she has been seen alongside her father, US President Donald Trump; and it’s made many wonder if she’ll be a part of politics during the next four years. However, she just revealed her main priority is her children, and their wellbeing, so no politics for Ivanka.
In a recent conversation with Daily Wire, which Ben Shapiro made viral with his praise for her, Ivanka confirmed she won’t return to politics, or return to her previous political roles as Advisor to the President nor the Director of the Office of Economic Initiatives and Entrepreneurship.
“The main reason I am not going back to serve now is I know the cost and it’s a price that I’m not willing to make my kids bear,” she said to the outlet. “It’s very easy to make a decision when it aligns around your core values. My highest most core value is family.”
She noted that since they’ll be teenagers, and tweenagers, she sees that “physical presence” matters more than it did when they were much younger.
For those who don’t know, Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner started dating in 2005 after being introduced by mutual friends. They briefly broke up in 2008, but reconciled and married in Oct 2009. They have since welcomed three children together named Arabella, born in July 2011, Joseph, born in Oct 2013, and Theodore, born in March 2016.
