There’s a certain gleam in 22-month-old Matilda’s eye whenever she’s with her dad Tom Pelphrey. The toddler loves her mom Kaley Cuoco, of course, but there’s something about dad that has her completely enchanted. In new pictures in Pelphrey’s arms, Matilda proves she is a total Daddy’s girl!
The Ozark star shared a black-and-white selfie of him and his only child on Instagram recently. The duo cuddles on the couch, and Pelphrey has his arms wrapped tight around his baby girl. In the photo, Pelphrey smiles, but Matilda absolutely beams with her mouth open in what looks like a giggle-shriek of pure happiness.
“♥️🙌🙏,” he captioned the sweet snap.
The Big Bang Theory star also shared a photo of Pelphrey and Matilda on her Instagram story. This time, the family is at the park. Pelphrey crouches down to admire the ducks swimming on the pond, with one arm wrapped around Matilda. She is dressed in the cutest Bluey sweatshirt and black-and-white plaid pants as she grabs her dad’s hand with her two tiny hands and leans her cheek into her dad’s face to look out over the water. Looking at these two makes us melt!
Cuoco was at the park too, and she shared a cute video of Matilda riding on her lap as she swung them on the swing set. Matilda giggles as she holds on to her stuffed bunny and her mom makes silly noises as they swing together. They are truly the cutest family.
In an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Showin November, the Based on a True Story star gushed about how much Matilda loves her dad. “She loves her Dada, oh boy!” Cuoco said. “Let me tell you, she would push me into a burning fire to get to her Dada. ‘Dada, Dada!’ Everything is ‘Dada!’” Amazing!
“They’re very much in love. I know, it’s kind of amazing,” Cuoco continued, joking, “And he would possibly push me into a flame to get to her too.”
