In case you haven’t been keeping up with the Kelces, you should know that Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce are currently in a bit of a pickle. You see, Jason’s former NFL team is playing against his brother Travis’ team in the Super Bowl, and so there’s some conflict over who to root for.
Kylie previously shared on her podcast that she’ll be cheering for her brother-in-law as an individual, even if she isn’t necessarily rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs. After all, the diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan “bleeds green.” As for her three daughters, they’ll be supporting Uncle Travis Kelce with custom merch.
“[Jason and I] have made moves to get the girls ‘Go Uncle Trav Shirts’ because they love their uncle,” Kylie said of daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 2.
During a recent press conference, Travis was asked about the sweet gesture and instantly smiled.
“The fact that the girls are going to wear a ‘Go Uncle Travy’ shirt,” Travis started, making us wonder if the tops now have his official nickname. “It warms my heart and gives me something else to fight for and hopefully I can make them proud and put a few smiles on their faces throughout the game.”
Fans loved this sentiment. “The best Uncle Travy 🏹💛❤️,” one person wrote on Instagram. Another added, “The Kelce family is one of the best families in the NFL.”
Kylie has always been vocal about her daughters’ love for their “Uncle Travy.”
In a 2023 interview, she gushed about her supportive brother-in-law and the way he only ever sits on the floor and plays with his nieces. The soon-to-be mom of four went so far as to call him the “absolute best uncle you can imagine.”
(Absolute! Best!)
“[Wyatt] will be like, ‘Jump up and down.’ He’ll do it. ‘Roll on the floor,’ he’ll do it. ‘Be the pony.’ He’ll do it. So he’s all-in when it comes to being an uncle. He is the epitome of an uncle, just through and through.”
We said it before and we’ll say it again, if he’ll jump up and down, roll on the floor, and be the pony, the Kelce girls should totally wear a supportive shirt while he and the Chiefs attempt a historic “threepeat.” Especially if it warms the tight end’s heart.
