Saquon Barkley’s 6-Year-Old Daughter Left Him a Tearjerking Voicemail Ahead of the Super Bowl

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley might have just found his biggest cheerleader. And no, it’s not one of the actual cheerleaders waving their pom-poms on the sidelines. Nor is it the notoriously intense Philly fans cheering from the stands.

It’s his 6-year-old daughter Jada.

The sweet little girl — who Barkley shares with fiancé Anna Congdon along with 2-year-old son Saquon “SJ” Jr. — left her dad an encouraging voicemail ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl, and it pulls on all the heartstrings.

“I really, really, really hope you win,” Jada told her dad while the Eagles prepared to take on the Kansas City Chiefs.

“And daddy I’m really thankful that you’ve been caring for your whole family and I know you’re going to win, but if you don’t, that is OK!” she continued. “I’ll always, always love you and SJ will always love you, and Mommy would always love you and your mother and father would always love you.”

And now I’m wondering who started cutting onions because, WOW, I’m getting misty-eyed. How touching is that? The little girl must know how much pressure her dad is under, and it’s so sweet that she took the time to remind him how loved he is regardless of the Big Game’s outcome.

“Our whole family would always love you no matter what you do,” Jada concluded.

The Players Tribune set the audio to the most heartwarming montage of family footage, and it’s clear that with or without a Lombardi trophy, Barkley has already won.

Too-cute voicemail aside, the beloved NFL player and his daughter are also known for their “secret” handshake that they do on the sidelines. Their little pregame ritual was caught on tape and quickly went viral because the love the father and daughter have for each other is just so precious and pure.

In 2019, Barkley told NJ Advance Media that he ultimately plays football for Jada.

“Obviously I do it for myself because I love the game, I love competing and I want to go down as one of the best [in NFL history], but I go out there and sacrifice my body every single day for my daughter,” he said.

“She is my world. I’m going to give her the world,” Barkley continued. “ … I want to be the best role model and father I can be in her life.”

Now all he has to remember is that Jada and the rest of the family will love him “no matter what.”
