Isla Fisher Gave Super-Rare Details on How Her Co-parenting Relationship Is Going With Sacha Baron Cohen

After Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen‘s shocking split in 2024, many have wondered how their family is doing. Many have wondered how their co-parenting relationship has gone, and if anything has changed for the better. Well, Fisher herself just gave a super-rare glimpse into how the family of five is handling the change, and it’s going way better than fans may have thought.

In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, Fisher talked about so many updates in her life, including how co-parenting is going.

“It’s the most difficult thing that I’ve been through and I’ve learnt so much about myself in the process,” she said to the outlet. “I never imagined my family being separated but we are committed and loving parents.”

She added, “Kids are the most important thing and you want them to really feel safe and loved. We are building a new, healthy version of what our family looks like and putting as much care and love into it as possible.”

And this is a far cry from what insiders were saying back in April 2024. Insiders told UsWeekly that the pair were “at odds” with one another, fighting mainly about their schedules and family commitments. While both had packed schedules for years, the insiders insinuated that the childcare responsibilities may not have been equal.

An eye-witness even added that they saw Cohen and Fisher in a “heated argument,” and “furiously argued” over filming schedules, tours, and still trying to balance their home life with their three children.

For those who don’t know, Fisher and Cohen met back in 2001, and they started dating soon after. They got engaged in 2004, and married in 2010. They share three children named Olive, born in 2007, Elula, born in Aug 2010, and Montgomery, born in March 2015.

After over 20 years together and nearly 14 years of marriage, they called it quits and announced the decision months later on Instagram back in 2024.

“After a long tennis match lasting over 20 years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage,” she said. We have always prioritized our privacy and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”
