We know there are a lot of ways young Princess Charlotte and Princess Diana are similar. From the get-go, Princess Charlotte shared her late grandma’s name, using it as her second middle name. And as the young royal has grown older, it has only become more and more apparent the two share an incredibly strong connection even though they have sadly never met.
For starters, there’s their uncanny physical resemblance. Then there’s the way they are both masters of the side eye. Plus, they each are known for their love of dance.
Now, eagle-eyed fans noticed one more way the 9-year-old princess takes after her paternal grandma who tragically passed away in 1997. And this detail might be the eeriest one yet.
A viral video shows how Princess Diana and Princess Charlotte both posed with their feet in a very distinct position. In the first shot of Princess Diana, her right leg is placed in front of her left, and her right foot is pointing off to the side. The montage then shows Princess Charlotte in a nearly identical stance where her legs are closer together but one foot is still veering off at a sharp angle. It’s almost like the dancers are prepared to leap into a ballet routine at any moment.
It’s so uncanny and unexpected for this duo to have this same stance. The video then continued with photos that show how Princess Charlotte really is the People’s Princess’ mini-me.
TikTok users were quick to wonder if there was something supernatural happening here. “Reincarnation?” one person asked. Another said, “She was reborn ❤️”

Last month, speculation started again over who will inherit one of Princess Diana’s most iconic accessories. The gorgeous Spencer Tiara was created for Diana’s grandma, Cynthia Spencer, and is currently in her brother Charles’ possession. There are mixed reports on who will next wear the stunning piece. Will it go to one of Diana’s granddaughters, Princess Charlotte or Princess Lilibet (who also has the middle name Diana!), or will it stay in the Spencer family?
And speaking of Lilibet … does she also have that very particular stance that her grandma and cousin have? We don’t see much of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 3-year-old daughter, but it’s possible she has a dash of Diana in her too.
