Beyonce and Jay-Z have three children together, but fans really only see two of the three. Their eldest child, daughter Blue Ivy, has been entering the spotlight more and more, and one of their twins, daughter Rumi, recently went to the 2025 Super Bowl! However, many were wondering, “Where’s Sir?” Well, resurfaced reports show that Sir isn’t about the spotlight, unlike his sisters.
Sir’s grandmother, Tina Knowles, previously revealed to EOnline that, unlike his musically and fashionably-inclined sisters, Sir “is more into books and electronics.” She added in another interview: “Sir is very quiet. He does all of the numbers stuff, so he’s not into fashion as much,” adding that he’s “very, very smart.”
This was all resurfaced by Hello Magazine, who revealed that Sir is just much more private than Blue Ivy and Rumi, and that’s why he has yet to go to the Super Bowl with his family.
For those who don’t know, Beyonce and Jay-Z first met in 2000 but didn’t start dating til a few years later. They married in 2008 in a private ceremony on April 4, 2008, in New York City.
Later, they welcomed three children together. They welcomed daughter Blue Ivy Carter back in Jan 2012, then welcomed twins Sir and Rumi on June 2017.
In a previous interview with GQ, Beyonce talked about how she revolves her schedule around her children.
“My kids come with me everywhere I go. They come to my office after school, and they are in the studio with me. They are in dance rehearsals. It’s natural that they would learn my choreography,” she said. “One thing I’ve worked extremely hard on is making sure my kids can have as much normalcy and privacy as possible, ensuring my personal life isn’t turned into a brand. It’s very easy for celebrities to turn our lives into performance art. I have made an extreme effort to stay true to my boundaries and protect myself and my family. No amount of money is worth my peace.”
These celebrity parents are raising strong, resilient daughters.
