Brittany Mahomes’ Kids Sterling & Bronze Just Reached a Major Milestone & We’re Shocked

Two of Brittany Mahomes‘ kids just had a big day. The co-owner of the Kansas City Current posted photos on her Instagram Story (see them HERE before they disappear) of her oldest kids getting their first-ever haircut. The picture of 2-year-old Bronze smiling with the hairdresser cape around his neck is too sweet, and the before and after pictures have our jaws on the floor (Sterling’s hair was long). But what shocked us most of all is that they are just now reaching this milestone. After all, Sterling is going to turn 4 this month. And we don’t mean this as a slight. Plenty of families wait to cut their kids’ hair — be it for cultural or financial reasons. But it’s just astounding that Brittany and Patrick Mahomes’ kids never had a haircut, given how healthy and shiny their kids’ locks always look. Granted, we don’t follow them around with a magnifying glass, but we never saw split ends or signs of their hair crying out for help.

Perhaps it’s because of Brittany’s beloved leave-in conditioner.

In an Oct. 2023 Instagram Q&A, a follower asked Brittany, “Products for Sterling’s hair? Her curls are so beautiful.”

And all it took to achieve Sterling’s shiny, luscious, and oh-so-enviable curls was “water and this.” “This” was Aunt Jackie’s Leave-In Conditioner. So perhaps it’s the cult-favorite leave-in conditioner that made it possible for Sterling and Bronze to go so long without a snip. And perhaps their baby sister Golden will be able to go ages, too.

But don’t get it *ahem* twisted. The curly-haired kiddos do have bad hair days just like the rest of us. Over the summer, Patrick felt the need to apologize to his son who had a serious case of bedhead (pre-conditioner?).

“Sorry for the hair bro,” the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback wrote over the photo. “Runs in the family.”
