Lindsay Hubbard Reveals How Motherhood Could Impact Her Future on Bravo

Lindsay Hubbard is entering a new chapter in her life. She recently welcomed a sweet baby girl with boyfriend Turner Kufe, and despite her fame, she could not be more relatable. The Summer House star recently sat down with StyleCaster, and the outlet reported that by 11 a.m., she had already swapped out her “leaky, milky” bra for a new one. It’s a move so many postpartum moms know all. too. well. She also had portable wearable breast pumps on standby.

“My life is so different, it’s insane,” the first-time mom said.

In Dec. 2024, Hubbard and Kufe welcomed Gemma Britt Kufe. “She’s here!! 🎀 ,” Hubbard captioned her Instagram birth announcement alongside a photo of her and Kufe holding their newborn’s tiny hands. And can we just take a minute to gush over that beautiful name? “Gemma” has French, Italian, and Latin roots and means “jewel,” so it’s only fitting that Hubbard was reportedly wearing “at least three” pieces of custom jewelry personalized with Gemma’s name.

But motherhood has changed so much more than just her wardrobe. Season 9 of Summer House just premiered, and she was 18 weeks pregnant at the start of filming. With season 10 on the horizon, she’s rethinking what her role will be in the reality TV show that follows a cast of friends (sometimes frienemies?!) who share a summer house in the Hamptons.

“Obviously, I’m not gonna live in the summer house with my baby every weekend. Because that would be f*cking crazy,” she said. “We did a lot of filming in [New York City] the last couple of years. I live in the city. I’m also planning on being in the Hamptons.”

“Maybe I’m not living at the house every weekend, but let’s stop by the house, or let’s meet up at the beach, or let’s go to the park in the city,” Hubbard continued. “That’s the natural progression … I’m not the first person who’s had a baby who used to be in the crazy party share house. I’m just the first one on the show who has done that.”

There’s chatter of Hubbard possibly joining the cast of Bravo‘s Real Housewives of New York City or The Traitors. She was coy when speaking about Real Housewives but was pretty direct about how motherhood would impact her future on Bravo if given the opportunity to join The Traitors.

“It depends if I can bring my baby. I’m still breastfeeding and pumping,” she said. “I know around the time they film. I also know what’s involved. … There’s a lot of isolation and zero communication. That does prove to be difficult with a newborn.”

It’s hard enough raising a newborn with the proverbial village. Never mind in isolation. And so, like all parents, Hubbard is now trying to figure out what her work-life balance will look like. What she does know, for now, is that she’s in the same boat as all first-time parents: Just trying to figure it out.

“I’m just worried about poopy diapers and having spit-up on me at all times,” she said when asked if she sees marriage in her future. “I’m adjusting to becoming a new mom right now. … There’s a lot of learning, newness, and adjustments.”

“I am postpartum, and my hormones are shifting. My body is changing. I’m trying to get used to being a mom, first and foremost, more than anything else,” she insisted.
