Sharna Burgess is all in her feels. The Dancing with the Stars pro is missing her man (AKA Brian Austin Green) and her “bigger littles” (AKA her four soon-to-be stepsons), and so she’s relishing in the here and now and the one guy who’s currently by her side.
“February so far, the good bits ♥️,” she captioned a carousel of photos on Instagram, most of which star her and Green’s son Zane.
The priceless photos perfectly show off the little cutie’s most striking feature. The 2-year-old has the most piercing blue eyes. Like, seriously, can this toddler see straight into my soul with those stunning baby blues?!
We shouldn’t be all that surprised by the hue. After all, both Burgess and Green have blue eyes. But there’s something so intense yet wholesome and pure about little Zane’s eyes. (We say, hoping that didn’t come out too creepily.)
Fans were so smitten with the munchkin, leaving comments like, “Zane is such a doll! I can’t handle him!!!,” “Your son is so precious,” and “Omg Zane ❤️ literally the cutest baby ever!”
When it comes to their [step]sons, Burgess and Green aren’t usually reading articles about their eye color. In Oct. 2024, Burgess spoke on the Between Us Moms podcast about the other feature that the public gets hung up on.
“We already get media articles like I’m forcing Zane to be a girl because I haven’t cut his hair yet or the ridiculous people saying that the kids are being forced to be girls,” she said.
Seriously?! The mom shamers and bigots never take a day off and are not only critical about the length of Zane’s hair, but also the hair length of Green’s sons Noah, Bodhi, and Journey, who he shares with with ex Megan Fox.
“I don’t understand it,” Burgess continued.
The busybodies just can’t handle the idea of these boys stepping outside of society’s treasured gender norms and having long hair — a style that is typically expected from (or forced upon!) young girls. They are so appalled by it, in fact, that in 2023, Robby Starbuck — who was disqualified from running for a U.S. congressional seat for Tennessee the year prior — accused the Transformers actress of “child abuse” because she allegedly “forced” her sons to wear “girls’ clothes.”
“Never use children as leverage or social currency,” Fox said in the best clapback of the year. “Especially under malevolent and erroneous pretense.”
“Exploiting my children’s gender identity to gain attention in your political campaign has put you on the wrong side of the universe,” the pregnant mom of three continued. “I have been burned at the stake by insecure, narcissistic, impotent, little men like you many times, and yet I’m still here. You f*cked with the wrong b*tch.”
What an infuriating thing for these co-parents to be able to bond over. Hopefully, the next time they’re all together (perhaps when Fox welcomes her baby with ex Machine Gun Kelly), they can instead bond over how beautiful their kids are (regardless of eye color!) and all the joy they bring to their lives.
