Kate Middleton & Prince William Skipped the BAFTAs for a Surprise Family Trip

Despite Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, better known as Kate Middleton, frequently making the BAFTAs a lavish, A-list clad date night over the years, they opted out this year. Much to the chagrin of fans, they have decided to not go to the BAFTAs today, and allegedly have a family-oriented outing in mind.

In details obtained by DailyMail, William and Kate decided to skip the BAFTAs to go on a trip with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Instead of London’s Royal Festival Hall, the family of five is allegedly living it up while on vacation to the private island of Mustique in the Caribbean.

Along with that, they even broke royal protocol to go! You know how the royal family is supposed to take separate flights to ensure the line of succession? Well, it seems William and Kate are relaxing that rule to stay close to their three kids.

Per the outlet, the family of five allegedly flown business class on the same British Airways flight, flying to Saint Lucia before taking a private flight to Mustique. Along with that, Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton, came along for the trip!

So it seems the family is ensuring a more family-oriented 2025 with a truly sweet, luxe trip together!
