She may be a nepo baby (and a nepo grandbaby!), but Rumer Willis’s daughter Louetta “Lou” Isley is getting to experience a wild, laid-back childhood as much as possible. The My Divorce Party star, who is the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, revealed that a quick getaway helped the 22-month-old embrace the “barefoot, feral child lifestyle,” and she’s never been more adorable!
Rumer and her daughter went to the Acre Resort in the Baja desert along with friends for a girls’ trip, which she described as “deep belly laughs, soul-filling conversations, and a whole lot of love” on Instagram. In her lengthy caption, she explains what Lou thought of it all.
“Lou had the time of her life — learning to swim in the dreamiest pool, chasing dogs through the palm trees, and fully embracing the barefoot, feral child lifestyle,” Rumer said, adding that she adopted a rescue dog named Dolores here six years ago, and this trip adopted a dog named Tennessee.
“Between visits to the donkeys, sunset walks, and one too many chocolate chip cookies, this trip was exactly what my heart needed,” Rumer added.
Lou also looks like she had the time of her life. In one photo, Willis holds her daughter in a swimming pool. A stream of water hits Lou right on the head, and the expression her face is making is the spitting image of her grandpa Bruce. In another photo, Lou has two big red bows on her head as she swims in another pool with her mom, smiling adorably. Later, the two seem to meditate in the grass, wearing similar white dresses with their hands folded in their laps. Lou has flowers in her hair and looks ethereal and serene.
The Rumer Has it founder shared another picture, this time of Lou showing off her iconic style. In it, she wears pink-and-white tights under flower-print shorts and has a pink jacket on top. She holds a mini heart purse and has white daisy sunglasses on. She’s a whole vibe, and we love it! (See all the photos, taken by photographer Jadan Huter, HERE.)
It seems like Rumer drew inspiration for her daughter’s freedom of expression from her own parents. In an interview with The New York Post last year, the House Bunny actress shared one thing she learned from her parents that she’s passing down to her daughter. “I think what I love about both of my parents is they really cultivated our imagination and the freedom of our expression,” Rumer said, referring to her and her sisters Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30.
“We were allowed to wear whatever we wanted to school,” she continued. “I have a photo of me where I’m wearing black-and-white striped tights with a tutu and a red suede fringe jacket. And that’s what we got to wear to school. We got to be so silly.”
Bruce and Moore also made life at home fun — and not at all what you might think a celebrity home would be like. “I grew up in a house where we would lick each other’s faces, and my sisters and I would all — with my mom — we would all bathe together,” Rumer said. “And there was just a kind of crazy, silly, weirdo, goofy, naked house.”
