Congratulations are in order as one of our beloved mom friends is pregnant — Mummy Pig! That’s right, friends, Peppa Pig’s mom is expecting her third child with Daddy Pig, and she announced the news in a special way. Mummy Pig appeared on Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast today to reveal the big news in the cutest new interview.
In a clip from the new episode, which premieres today, Kylie welcomes Mummy Pig for a fun video interview. “Mummy Pig, I heard you have a very special announcement. Would you like to share it with everyone?” Kylie asks in the clip on YouTube Shorts.
Mummy Pig’s kids Peppa and George interrupt her right before she makes the announcement (which, relatable!), saying, “I’m thrilled to say, I’m pregnant!”
“Baby No. 3 is due in the summer,” she adds, showing off her growing baby bump.
Kylie, who is pregnant with her fourth daughter with husband Jason Kelce, asked how Peppa and George are doing with the news. “In my experience, kids can have lots of different reactions to news like this,” Kylie says.
“Oh yes, I saw your picture!” Mummy Pig adds, referring to the iconic photo of Kylie’s daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 2, crying, smiling, and covering their ears about their mom’s announcement.
“They’re just taking everything in their stride, really. Peppa says she’s an even bigger sister now and I’m an even bigger mummy,” Mummy Pig continues, prompting Kylie to add, “Kids will humble you.” That’s for sure!
“And, you know, we’ve had a few big feelings as we call them,” Mummy Pig goes on. “But we talk and reassure them when they need it. It’s an exciting change, but it is a big one.”
They also chat about Mummy Pig’s feelings as she anticipates another piglet and looks forward to “all the firsts.”
In an interview with PEOPLE, the field hockey coach opened up about her experience interviewing the famous animated mom. “With three kids ages 5 and under Peppa Pig has been a staple in our house for years,” Kylie told the outlet. “As we get ready to welcome baby No. 4, it was fun to get to speak to the girls’ other favorite mom about her experience.”
“It’s so special to see the exciting changes my family is going through reflected in a brand that my kids and I genuinely love,” she continued. “The show gives my girls a great role model for how to manage the big feelings that come along with a new sibling. We all know how Bennie reacted to becoming a big sister, so hopefully, Peppa’s enthusiasm will rub off on her!”
Your kids can join in on the Peppa Pig fun by watching PEPPA PIG The Big Announcement episode premiering at 9 a.m. EST on March 31 on Nickelodeon. And keep your eyes peeled for new content revealing Baby Pig’s sex, name, and arrival episode coming out later this year.
