There’s nothing better than passing a childhood tradition down to your kids! Kaley Cuoco recently got to experience this over the holidays, when she went on a special trip with her daughter Matilda “Tildy” Carmine, who turns 2 on Sunday, her fiancé Tom Pelphrey, and other family members. The Big Bang Theory alum dished about sharing this beloved tradition with her daughter in new interview.
Even though Tildy is young, Cuoco couldn’t wait to take her daughter to one of her favorite places: Disneyland! “Our family used to save up all year to take me and my sister to Disneyland, and I have so many unbelievable memories,” she told Travel + Leisure recently. Cuoco called the experience “the best thing we could have ever done.”
Aww! How sweet is that? I remember my parents taking me to Disneyland as a kid, and I’ve done the same with my kids. It’s a magical place, made even more wonderful by seeing the joy on your child’s face when they experience it.
In the interview, Cuoco shared her hopes for Tildy. “I remember [my childhood visits] like it was yesterday, so I’m hoping even though she’s only two, she’s going to remember the trip forever,” she gushed.
In January, Cuoco shared pictures of her daughter’s first visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth,” where she looked adorable in sparkly gold Minnie Mouse ears. “🧚 We were unsure if Matilda was too young for a trip to @disneyland …. ✨ we were so wrong!” Cuoco captioned the post. “Best decision we ever made , and memories we will never ever forget.”
Like most Disney lovers, the Based on a True Story star is already planning her next visit. This time, to Walt Disney World in Florida. “I’ve been to so many amazing places, but we as a family want to bring our daughter and family and do a whole week there,” she told the outlet. “Honestly, that would be the trip of a lifetime.” It sounds perfect — especially for a princess-loving girl like Tildy!
“Travel is important — that’s where the memories are made,” Cuoco added. “There’s always a reason not to go, but then you book it and you have this amazing time and all these memories. That’s what life is all about.”
These celeb families wouldn’t be complete without their furry friends.
