All The Fancy Tiny Clothing The Royal Baby Clearly Needs to Wear

It’s a boy! The newest royal is finally here, and we still have so. many. questions. What’s his name? Does he favor Meghan or Harry? Why can’t we be his best friend? One thing is for certain: This royal baby is going to have one hell of a wardrobe.

We all know there are some pretty strict rules the grown-up royals need to obey, and the littles have some traditions they probably won’t break either. Duchess Meghan has a lot to expect from the new baby Sussex’s arrival — you know, like the traditional photo opp on the hospital steps, and taking some time with Harry on paternity leave to just be a family and cuddle.

Meghan Markle has broken royal tradition several times already, however, so it wouldn’t be surprising if she bucked it again with the new royal baby boy‘s clothing choices — tiny royal dino dress, anyone? Then again, she might go totally classic with some of the spot-on elegant royal kidswear below.

We’ve rounded up all the oh-so-fancy picks any royal baby clearly needs to wear right now; we’ve thrown some girl outfits in there for good measure, for your own little royal — or, you know, if Meghan and tot decide to buck some gender stereotypes. Hey, if any royal would, it would be her!

Um, this masterpiece of adorable is marketed as a “Hand-Smocked Classic Creeper” so we’re just imagining it’s for the most sneaky royal babies out there — you know, the kid who’s creepin’ around all the high teas and important palace business meetings, disarming each and every member of Parliament with his cuteness.

This prep-tastic blue romper with white collared shirt just oozes royal charm (and we can totally see Prince George wearing it — matching cousin photo opp, perhaps?)

Baby might not be walking yet, but that doesn’t mean he can’t rock some Ralph Lauren crib shoes. He’ll be playing polo before Prince Harry can say “pip pip, cheerio.”

A baby bonnet is a must-have for any tiny royal head (pre-crown, that is), and this one is 100% cashmere to keep Baby’s noggin warm and cozy during outdoor strolls in, you know, any kind of typical British weather. Soft and luxurious, this bonnet is the perfect pair for any outfit.

This hand-smocked dress is a gorgeous addition to any royal wardrobe, and its vintage look is adorable. With a tiny rosebud detail and bow in the back, this is perfect for a playdate or a paparazzi showdown.

If this knit romper isn’t the picture of princely perfection, we don’t know what is. Comfortable and cozy, with button closures at the legs and cable-knit detailing, it’s just plain adorable.

Sleeping is probably the only time royal babes don’t have to worry about being photographed, so why not rep their grandma’s favorite furry friends (RIP) with this cotton corgi sleep suit?
