I’ll admit it: I’m obsessed with music icon
Pink and her husband
Carey Hart. This is in no small part because my high school best friend’s mom used to get drunk with Pink’s mom and sing together until closing at an Irish bar in Philly. So there’s that. But also, because
Pink, people.
We at SheKnows love keeping an eye out for stories about the hip couple, who have two kids now: Willow, 8, and Jameson, 2. And if Papa Hart’s Instagram is any indication, Willow is definitely taking after her badass parents — this time with a brand-new, savage haircut featuring shaved sides. We can’t. I mean, we totally can, but we also can’t, because we’re stanning so hard we have to sit down.
Hart posted to his Instagram a shot of Willow getting her new coif. He captioned it, “Loving my punk rock daughter. Remember everyone, fly your own flag. There is no box to be put in. It’s better to be your own self. Own it, and love it. And if anyone has a problem with it, tell them (politely) to move on. Can’t wait to see the woman you grow up to be. I have a feeling you are gonna be strong, fierce,
compassionate, and caring. I’m so proud of you, Willow.”
These two are fab parents — and Willow is becoming a fab human to prove it.

This isn’t the first time that Willow’s changed up her naturally blonde locks with the help of her parents. Just last month, Pink posted a pic of Willow having her hair dyed bright blue in solidarity with Jessica Simpson’s daughter, Maxwell, 7, who had just dyed the ends of her hair violet.
The “Beautiful Trauma” singer posted that hair adventure with Willow on Instagram with a message for all the haters: “I heard people were bummed on Jessica Simpson for letting her seven-year-old get her hair colored. So we thought we’d share what we did yesterday.”

Could we love those hashtags more? “#bluehairdontcare #getyourownkids #parentpoliceareactuallyjustlonelysadpeople #illdyeyourhairtoolosers #ohlookmanocomments (alluding to her switched-off comment thread to thwart the usual trolls — nice).
We’re still amazed that anyone takes umbrage in 2019 with kids who enjoy expressing themselves through (gasp!) hair — especially when there are so many more serious things to worry about (bulletproof backpacks, anyone?). Rock on, Willow. We totally dig your new look.
