Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade have partnered with clothing company YnG DnA to sell a limited-edition Pride shirt, donating proceeds to GLSEN. In a post on Instagram, Union and Wade model the shirts alongside three of their five kids: Wade’s sons Zaire and Zion with his first wife, Siohvaughn Funches, as well as nephew, Dahveon, whom Wade also raised.
“As a family, we believe inclusion and equality are two essential pillars needed to move towards growth and progressive thinking and action in our society,” Union writes in the post. She also shared that family will be donating $50,000 with YnG DnA, as well as 50% of the proceeds from every shirt sold. Union also teased that a line from the couple’s daughter, Kaavia, might be coming soon. (Onesies, perhaps?)

The shirts have the YnG DnA logo on the front in rainbow, and on the back use the letters in “pride” to spell “Please Remain Inclusive and Dedicated 2 Equality.” The shirts come in both a men’s and women’s cut and retail for $35 each.
The collaboration won’t come as a surprise to fans of the Wade family. Back in June, both Union and Wade made headlines after supporting Zion’s attendance at Miami Pride. While Wade couldn’t be there himself because of work, Union posted to Instagram stories pictures of herself among what she dubbed Zion’s “cheering section.”
When asked about his choice to support his son, Wade told Variety that while it was “Zion’s story to tell,” he does “think as a family, we should support each other. That’s our job.”
It’s a powerful message that’s also echoed by Zion’s older brothers; on his own Instagram, Zaire shared a photo of him and Zion in the shirts, captioned with, “THE WADES STAND AS ONE!”
Hell yes they do — and we’re right there with them.
