As an “OG Jonas Brothers fan” (their name for someone whose been bopping to their hits since 2006), I have loved Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas for a long time. But seeing them together last night at “The Tour” proved something I’ve been noticing for a while. Their arrogant, youthful swagger has given way to a steadfast sexiness that can only be attributed to the fact that they are all Daddies now. If that isn’t enough to make you swoon, Joe had the sweetest interaction with two pregnant fans that showed he truly is a big softy now.
At the Aug. 30 concert at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, Joe took a break during their three-hour performance of five albums to read a sign from fans Nicole and Scott. It said, “Will you reveal what my Little Bird will be?” He joked, “This is a lot of responsibility right here.”
He decided to amp up their anticipation by performing “Little Bird” first — the JoBros’ beautiful song inspired by their daughters — and then he took a second to open an envelope that had the baby’s sex written inside. Joe read, “It’s a girl!” and the whole crowd erupted in cheers as our concert wristbands turned pink in celebration of the news. The sea of pink was a little hard to see as I couldn’t help getting teary eyed. What a special moment for that mama-to-be that she will cherish forever!
Right after that, someone handed Joe their phone. “You’re in the delivery room on FaceTime, and we wish you were here,” he told another pregnant mama on the phone. “Congratulations.” He then showed the beaming mama on the phone’s screen, and my heart officially melted into a puddle on the floor. These sweet interactions show how much he appreciates family life, and it makes me love him all the more.
Joe is dad to two daughters, Willa, 3, and another baby born July 2022, with wife Sophie Turner. In an interview with USA Today, Joe said he has to hold back tears when performing “Little Bird” with his brothers.
“It’s one of those tunes where you’re fighting back tears,” he said. “It’s an emotional tune and we all kind of go, ‘OK, here we go’ when we see it on the set list.”
Nick is dad to Malti Marie, 19 months, with wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas. He told Bustle the song is “about all our little birds.”
“Obviously I connect with it in a big way after the journey that my wife and I went on with our daughter,” he added, referring to Malti spending her first 100 days in the NICU after she was born. “But I think what’s so special about that song is that it transcends our individual journeys, and hopefully it’s going to be an anthem for a lot of parents out there.”
Kevin is dad to daughters Alena Rose, 9, and Valentina Angelina, 6, with wife Danielle Jonas. Danielle recently told TODAYthat she “would love another [baby].”
“There’s been a lot … a lot going on with that,” she said. “But I would love another [baby]. I love kids.”
Kevin responded, “You never know.”
Given how much The Jonas Brothers love kids, we bet Danielle will get her wish.
These celebrity dads have the sweetest bonds with their daughters.
