As an Irwin, some things just come naturally. Like loving animals and being entertaining on-camera like the late Steve Irwin. Bindi Irwin’s 2-year-old daughter Grace Warrior has that same energy in an adventurous new photo with her dad Chandler Powell that’s making our hearts melt.
In the photo, the Florida native wears his Australia Zoo khakis and a hat as he stands outside on a sunny day. They are surrounded by trees, so like any toddler with a wild streak, Grace can’t resist climbing one. In the photo, she’s hugging the tree with the biggest smile on her face. She looks adorable in a bucket hat, pink floral shirt, yellow pants, and tennis shoes, as her dad holds her up with one hand to make sure she doesn’t fall. You can tell she is a daddy’s girl (just like her mom was with her Crocodile Hunter dad!).
Grace wasn’t just hugging a tree to be cute — she was doing it to imitate a koala! “’Please be a koala in a tree?’ — Grace 🐨,” Powell wrote in his caption, recounting the cute request from his daughter. C’mon, could this kid be any more adorable??? She is the cutest little koala we’ve ever seen!
He went on, “Who knew there’d be koalas on the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve in Far North Queensland 😂 Love building these memories with our girl.” What a sweet dad!
Bindi commented on the photo, “My loves ❤️.”
“Cutest koala ever! Koala Grace! 🐨💗,” one person wrote. Another person commented, “She is a little doll! Reminds me so much of her mum Bindi, so glad to see this happy family !”
Someone else wrote, “This is perhaps the most adorable animal imitation I think I’ve ever seen possibly in the history of whole creation of the internet 🛜 🥰💕.” We totally agree.
Last month, the wakeboarder shared precious photos with his “little buddy” Grace during a snow day in Australia. “Snowy smiles with my favorite little buddy in the world❤️,” he captioned the post, which featured Grace all bundled up for the weather and smiling with her dad.
Their father-daughter relationship is too sweet!
