It’s looking like Drew Scott has a couple of other career options available if this whole real estate thing doesn’t work out. The Property Brothers star posted a reel on Instagram with clips of himself, his wife Linda Phan, and their adorable 1-year-old son Parker. Based on the video editing skills alone, he could probably get a gig working behind the scenes at HGTV.
In one of the clips, he is playing guitar for Parker. The little guy is sitting on the floor and holding his own teal baby guitar that is basically as tall as him. It’s so cute and we really hope a father-son band is in the works. And though we don’t hear what Scott is playing since the video is set to Paul Russell’s “Lil Boo Thang,” his confidence makes it seem like maybe music is his forte!
When Scott and Parker aren’t mid-jam sesh, we see footage of the little guy standing up in front of the baby gate to the pantry, standing on the backseat of the [parked!] car, and reaching for door handles.
“Our little boo thang is not so little anymore!” Scott — who is trying to become the King of Dad Jokes — captioned the post.
It’s a compilation of really sweet, intimate moments that should have had everyone saying, “Aww!” But of course some hateful busybodies just had to enter the chat. ICYMI: Scott and Phan don’t post photos or videos showing Parker’s face, and a lot of entitled commenters have a problem with that.
“Not sure why people in the public eye post numerous videos of their children and hide their faces. If you don’t want people to see your kids, don’t post them at all. 🤷🏼♀️” “Why take videos and pictures of him if you not going to show his face #justasking.” “Why post this if we can’t see boy or girl.” “He is adorable. When will we see his sweet face?😍”
Seriously, people?! Give it a freakin’ rest. We could go on and on about all the reasons why this philosophy is so screwed up, but we’ll let one of the few levelheaded commenters take it away: “Y’all don’t need to see the face of that baby. It’s called privacy. Carry on.”
