Nick Cannon’s Family Admits They Can’t Remember the Names of All His Kids Either

As the dad of more than a dozen kids, Nick Cannon has been the butt of many, many, many jokes. And whenever one is told, we try to remember the names and ages of his many (many, many) kids. But…it’s a lot. So yes, we phone a friend. And it turns out we’re not alone!

Nick’s brother Gabriel told Entertainment Weekly that even he can’t successfully name his 12 nieces and nephews off the top of his head. Instead, he turns to Google.

“I’m not even gonna attempt,” the Claim to Fame star said before referencing his brother’s infamous appearance on The Howard Stern Show in April 2023. Howard Stern challenged Nick to name all his kids in age order. And Nick made an accident that he said “might create a problem.” He forgot his daughter Onyx, saying Stern threw him off.

He messed up [naming] all his kids,” Gabriel told EW. “So I’m not even gonna attempt.”

Gabriel has yet to meet all of his nieces and nephews (some of the kids haven’t even met each other!) but when he finally does, he has a strategy: “They’re all on the internet,” he said. “It’s a good thing for a reminder.”

Well, Gabriel, if you end up on this story, here’s the 411:

Your brother shares 12-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex wife Mariah Carey. Then there’s Golden Sagon, 6, Powerful Queen, 2, and Rise Messiah, 10 months who he shares with ex Brittany Bell. He shares 2-year-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and 9-month-old Beautiful Zeppelin with ex Abby De La Rosa. With ex Alyssa Scott, Nick shares 7-month-old Halo Marie and their late infant son Zen who tragically died from a brain tumor. Let’s not forget (like Nick did), OnyxIce, 11 months who he shares with ex Lanisha Nicole. And then there’s Legendary Love, 1 who he shares with Selling Sunset star and current girlfriend Bre Tiesi.

Got it? Moroccan, Monroe, Golden, Powerful Queen, Rise Messiah, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, Beautiful Zeppelin, Halo Marie, Zen, Onyx Ice, Legendary Love.

Nick seems to be a good sport about all the jokes, not letting the peanut gallery get in the way of his feelings about his children and about fatherhood. “Every day I just wake up excited as a father,” he told PEOPLE last year. “…I’m so excited about all my kids. Constantly, from every aspect of it. From them getting citizen of the month awards in the first grade to the birth of the new ones.”

And we’re sure the Drumline star will be excited to introduce them to their uncle. And to watch Gabriel sneakily try to double-check names on Google.

These stars have vulnerably shared their experiences with grieving the loss of a child.
