At only eight years old, Kate Middleton and Prince William’s daughter Princess Charlotte is so talented. Not only does she have a strong love for dancing and baking, but she arguably ties with her mother for one of the sportiest royal kiddos. We’ve seen (and heard) so many instances of her trying out a sport or two, but this hobby could set her apart from the rest of the family in a unique way.
Both William and Kate have dropped hints here and there about how much Charlotte loves sports. Last year, per Newsweek, William talked about her love for football (which, in America, is known as soccer), and even referred to her as a “budding star for the future!”
Along with that, President of the Rugby Football Union Nigel Gillingham OBE said, per Mirror, that Kate told him, “Charlotte is very much in her mold, very competitive as well apparently.”
With these resurfaced details from the Mirror, people think Charlotte could have a future in sports, much like many other of her family members.
However, the Mirror noted that if she pursued a career in football, she would be “quite the royal trailblazer.” But for right now, we’re just happy the Wales kids are having a good, active time amid their hectic schedule!
William and Kate share three children named George, 9, Charlotte, 8, and Louis, 5.
