Bronny James isn’t NBA icon LeBron James’ only kid heading toward a bright future in professional basketball. LeBron’s youngest son, Bryce, is also following in his footsteps on the court.
On Saturday, 16-year-old Bryce revealed some extremely exciting news about his future as a college ball player. “Blessed to receive an offer from Ohio State #GoBuckeyes,” the teen wrote on X (formerly Twitter). The Ohio State University, located in Columbus, OH, is notably just two hours from LeBron’s hometown of Akron. Bryce’s 19-year-old brother Bronny also received an offer from Ohio State before he ultimately committed to the University of Southern California.
Bryce also shared the news on his Instagram on Sunday. The teenager posted a variety of photos of himself in an OSU basketball uniform, captioning the carousel, “Buckeye nation⚪️🔴how we feeling?”
Excited fans showed their support of the up-and-coming athlete in the comments, with one writing, “We feeling locked in and ready to see you ball out 👀.” Others commented, “That’s fire bro 🔥🔥🔥,” “Yessssssss sirrrrrr!! 🔥❤️,” and “Bring it home young brotha🔥,” among many more encouraging messages.
Several people also pointed out how much Bryce looks like LeBron with comments including, “Yo he look like lebron lowkey,” “Daddy’s twin ❤️🤍,” and our personal favorite, “Thts Lebrice 🤣🤣.”
Bryce is currently a junior in high school with a four-star recruit ranking on ESPN. If his father and brother are any indication, this is only the beginning of the teen’s athletic career!
