Madonna’s Kids May Have Outshone Their Famous Mom with Surprise Onstage Performances That Left Fans Talking

The opening night of Madonna’s Celebration Tour in London was a family occasion.

On Saturday, not one, not two, not three, but four of the legendary musician’s kids joined her on stage with surprise performances that proved her talent is alive and well in them. In addition to four of her kids either dancing, singing, or playing an instrument during the concert, all six of Madonna’s children were in attendance to support her latest show.

The “Material Girl” singer’s 11-year-old daughter Estere Ciccone captivated fans with her underground ballroom-inspired runway strutting and dance routine along to Madonna’s “Vogue.” For the number, Estere vogued for her mother and her eldest sister Lourdes Leon, 27, who served as a panel of judges. Madonna and Lourdes both held scorecards emblazed with “10” high in the air, giving the pre-teen a perfect score for her energetic performance.

Estere’s twin sister Stella Ciccone performed Madonna’s Western-inspired song “Don’t Tell Me,” while their older sister, Mercy James, 17, played piano while her mom sang “Bad Girl.” Madonna’s youngest son, David Banda, 18, also showcased his musical talent by playing guitar during “Let’s Go Crazy” and “Mother and Father.” While her eldest son, Rocco Ritchie, 23, didn’t grace the stage, he was at the show alongside the rest of his siblings.

Madonna has been candid about her rocky relationship with her eldest kids over the years, but the united front she and her six children presented for her opening show suggests they’ve turned over a new leaf. We’re curious as to whether or not Estere, Stella, Mercy, and David’s appearances were a special treat for the launch of Madonna’s tour, or if they’ll perform at upcoming shows similar to Blue Ivy’s frequent appearances on stage during Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour. In any case, it seems the world will see more of Madonna’s kids as they potentially follow in her footsteps in music!
