John Legend & Chrissy Teigen Managed to Avoid This Insomnia-Inducing Parental Nightmare With Babies Esti & Wren

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have managed to dodge a major worry for parents of infants with not one but two babies. Call it luck, coincidence, good karma, or a straight-up miracle — their good fortune has undoubtedly made parenting a less sleepless experience, literally.

During an interview with People, the “Wild” singer revealed that his and Teigen’s youngest children, 10-month-old daughter Esti and 4-month-old son Wren, are the best kind of babies. “They don’t cry a lot, so we feel really blessed and excited to have them as part of our home and part of our family now,” Legend shared. A major hurdle of new parenthood is the dreaded sleepless nights, and the beloved celebrity couple seems to have managed to avoid the difficulty this time around.

The Voice judge also gave an update on the babies’ growth, sharing, “Esti just started crawling a couple of weeks ago, and Wren is 4 months old now. They smile a lot.”

As for the older kiddos, Legend said their daughter Luna, 7, and son Miles, 5, are in second grade and kindergarten, respectively. He continued, “Luna just started doing homework, which is fun for me because I like overseeing her homework and I was always kind of a very precocious student,” the “All of Me” crooner admitted. “So I get to relive that with my daughter and my son.”

Overall, Legend said his and Teigen’s four kids “bring a lot of joy to the house and a lot of positive energy.” Positive, well-rested energy at that!
