Babies showing off their team spirit warms our hearts, and while we’re used to seeing NFL players’ kids all dressed up (looking at you, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes!), they aren’t the only ones who like to cheer for their favorite team. Kaley Cuoco and husband Tom Pelphrey may not play the sport, but they are huge New York Giants fans — and so is their 7-month-old baby Matilda “Tildy” Carmine Richie.
The Big Bang Theory alum and Love & Death star pose in identical blue-and-white Giants jerseys in a new picture shared on Cuoco’s Instagram Story yesterday. They both have huge smiles on their faces as they hold their baby girl in between them. Tildy — who honestly looks a little confused at all the excitement — is dressed in a red-and-blue Giants shirt and skirt with a slit on one leg. (It looks like a cheerleader outfit, although the team famously doesn’t have any cheerleaders.) In the photo, Cuoco and Pelphrey added a blue siren animation to the top of their head and tagged the football team in the post.
Another is a close-up of Tildy in her Giants getup. The skirt goes well past her knees, and she sticks out her tongue and gives her mama a wide-eyed look in the photo. She’s such a cutie!
Tildy is still several months away from celebrating her first birthday, but she already has quite a personality. She is obsessed with breakfast, is a horse-lover like her mom, and has a huge crush on the Jonas Brothers.
In a May interview with Entertainment Tonight,The Flight Attendant star opened up about parenting. “We find ourselves in a very natural situation. We’re just kind of going with the flow,” Cuoco said. “She really tells us what she wants, it’s very clear, it’s like one of three things.”
Cuoco added, “She’s cool. She’s really just awesome, and we’re loving it. We’re loving being at home with her.”
Tildy certainly seems to enjoy spending time with her parents, too and showing off her team spirit. And hey, the Giants beat the Washington Commanders 14-7 last night, so maybe the baby girl is a good luck charm!
