It may be spooky season, but Jeannie Mai Jenkins’ daughter Monaco is still living up the beach baby life. The 22-month-old looks adorable in new photos with her toddler friend, and it’s making us long for summer to come back!
“Friends don’t let friends beach alone 🏖️❤️,” the America’s Test Kitchen: The Next Generation host wrote on Instagram.
In the first photo, Monaco is dressed in an adorable fruit-patterned swimsuit (complete with ruffles!) as she stands in a baby pool on the beach. First of all, bringing a baby pool to the beach is a genius idea! You can fill it with ocean water and let your toddlers play in the sand, then quickly cool off without getting into the water. It’s especially great for littles who have an ocean anxiety.
Secondly, we can’t get over how adorable Monaco is. She has her arm around a toddler friend, who is wearing orange floral swim trunks, and they are so sweet together. In the next slide, Monaco and her friend have a dance party on the sand. It’s so precious!
The two toddlers rest on towels in the shade in the next photo. Finally, they are changed into dry clothes in the last video. Monaco is wearing a matching Minnie Mouse sweater and sweatpants and her friend is dressed in a long-sleeved white t-shirt and shorts. They walk hand-in-hand in the sand, melting our hearts with each step.
In the last slide, The Real host holds Monaco as they walk on the beach. She turns to give her daughter a kiss, and at one point, Monaco sweetly pats her mama on the back.
Tamera Mowry commented, “😍😍😍😍.”
One person wrote, “They honestly couldn’t be any cuter ❤️😍.”
“Cuteness overload with these two beach babes ❤️🥰❤️,” someone else said.
Mai shares Monaco with estranged husband Jeezy. The two tied the knot in March 2021, welcomed Monaco in Jan. 2022, and Jeezy filed for divorce in Sept. 2023.
In Oct., Mai opened up about her divorce on Sherri Shepherd’s talk show, Sherri.“You know, Monaco … that is my North Star,” she said. “And I can definitely tell you that I don’t know if I would handle this the same way without her because today, I’m able to look at her and I can say, ‘What would I advise you if you were in my shoes?’ And it changes everything.”
Mai added, “So I’m so thankful to be a mom and I’m thankful to have her.”
