Everybody else can drop out of the contest because Kaavia James (aka Shady Baby) just “won” with her adorable Halloween costume. The 4-year-old channeled her inner Beyoncé in an adorable ‘fit.
Gabrielle Union shared a photo of her daughter and Kaavia’s friend Crosby on her Instagram Story, writing, “’Our Parents Have A Problem’ dropping 10.31.23 🎃🐝😅.”
Kaavia also shared the look on her Instagram (run by parents Union and Dwyane Wade). She is wearing a curly blonde wig with a bee mask, a matching yellow-and-black bodysuit over black tights, and black shoes, while she holds a microphone in one hand. She looks just like Queen Bey during her Renaissance World Tour performance of “America Has a Problem” featuring Kendrick Lamar. Crosby is dressed as the rapper, wearing a yellow jacket and matching pants with white and black stripes, and black gloves. These costumes are spot on! (See the picture HERE.)
Slide to see an adorable video of Kaavia and Crosby dancing to the hit song. Beyoncé, are you watching? This duo is so cute.
Quinta Brunson commented, “Omg.” Wade also commented, “Iconic.”
“Everyone else needs to go home cause they won 😂❤️❤️,” another person wrote and others echoed the sentiment. “As Beyhive president representing the Midwest and South chapters … I must say they won 😆🙌🏾🙌🏾❤️,” someone else said.
“OK halloween costumes over now. Give ’em their trophieesss🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍,” another wrote.
In September, Kaavia joined her parents and sister Zaya Wade at the Renaissance World Tour in Los Angeles. Everyone dressed in silver, including Kaavia who paired a silver sequin jersey with a dazzling tutu, black boots, and a tiny black purse.
“Style is generational 😉,” Union captioned the post.
Earlier this month, Kaavia praised Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy, 11, for her amazing talent, even sharing videos of Blue performing with her mom.
“It’s official, our girl #BlueIvy hands down had best summer ever, and we all got to witness it,” the post was captioned. “This week’s #WCW is none other than the young legend, Blue Ivy Carter. This 11-year-old superstar graced the stage of @Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour the past few months, showcasing her poise, confidence, and extraordinary talent.”
The post continued, “Blue Ivy is the living example that hard work and dedication can produce magic. We are so lucky to have her as a role model, and a reminder that young Black girls can do anything we put our minds to. Love seeing you win Blue! 💙”
It’s safe to say Kaavia is a huge fan, and we love that for her!
