People love to try to guess when celebrities are pregnant, which is rude and invasive (Hailey Bieber and Vanessa Hudgens are just two of many celebs who’ve recently gone through this). Now, apparently, people also love spreading rumors that pregnant women aren’t actually pregnant. (I know, right?) Jana Kramer just slammed critics of her pregnancy who called it “fact,” and we can barely believe she even had to do this.
“There’s these people out there saying that I’m wearing a fake belly,” the One Tree Hill alum told E! Newson Tuesday. She also called the rumors “funny,” adding, “I’m like, ‘Oh my god, you guys are crazy!'”
Seriously, though. How would that even work? You think she has a strap-on silicone baby bump? Or she just ate one too many pieces of Halloween candy? Or maybe she just has a pillow shoved under her dresses? In addition to being weird (why would anyone do this?), these rumors also make her out to be cruel and vindictive. After all, a fake belly also would mean she faked this emotional and heartfelt video of telling her daughter Jolie, 7, that she was going to be a big sister again. And that she faked all her celebratory pregnancy updates. Those are pretty serious allegations that make the accusers look incredibly dumb. It’s nice to see she’s taking it with a sense of humor, though.

Kramer shares Jolie and son Jace, 4, with ex-husband Mike Caussin. The two split in April 2021 after six years of marriage. Her current fiancé Allan Russell popped the question in May 2023 after six months of dating. She announced her pregnancy with Russell one month later.
“We’ve been keeping another secret from you guys (I promise this is the last Announcement … at least for a little while 🤣),” Kramer teased on Instagram, “but I’m pregnant!!!!”
In her interview with E!, she shared that the public is wary of her relationship habits. “To the public, it’s like, ‘Well, here she goes again: Repeating the same pattern, moving really fast and getting married,” she said, adding that Russell is “the only person I’ve truly wanted to walk down the aisle to.”
The country singer said, “I’m so excited to spend my life with him because he’s just an incredible man. He’s so respectful and loves me.”
“I had been telling people, ‘No, I don’t want another baby,'” she continued. “With him, the thought of creating something with him and having this family felt so right.”
