Kaley Cuoco’s Baby Tildy Passed a New Milestone With Flying Colors & The Picture Is ‘Perfection’

When your mom is a flight attendant (or at least, plays one on TV), then she might have a few tricks up her sleeve to make an airplane trip go more smoothly. Kaley Cuoco did — or she just got really, really lucky — and her 7-month-old daughter Matilda “Tildy” absolutely rocked her first flight milestone!

The Flight Attendant star, who shares Tildy with Tom Pelphrey, shared a picture of her and Tildy up in the air on her Instagram Story, revealing that her daughter passed with flying colors.

“When your baby is perfection on her first flight ✈️❗️🩷,” Cuoco wrote on the photo, per PEOPLE. The black-and-white selfie (which you can see HERE) shows Tildy sitting on her mama’s lap. The baby has huge headphones over her ears and a drool bib on as she smiles at something off camera (maybe the in-flight entertainment?). On a table next to the mother-daughter duo is a cup with a drink for Cuoco and a baby bottle for Tildy. You know, the essentials!

It’s not smooth sailing for everyone who takes their baby on a trip. When Hilary Duff traveled with her 1-year-old daughter Mae to Hawaii, the baby only slept for about 15 minutes on the six-hour flight, letting out several ear-piercing screams. Duff even made a sign out of a vomit bag that read: “Save me!”

Mandy Moore had a stressful flight experience when her son Gus was 4 months old — but it happened off the plane. The This Is Us star wrote on her Instagram Story in July 2021, “Dang! First time traveling with the baby, our flight got canceled.” Yikes!

Later, she asked for recommendations on getting from D.C. to Maine. because “All flights are full. No trains either. And rental cars are scary due to the holiday. Help!”

She also couldn’t drive because she needed a car seat part. “But I need the base to our car seat (that was checked) to travel anywhere with my baby. I have a 4-month-old freaking out. This is insane.” They finally made it on the plane and landed in time for her baby to eat and take a bath before falling asleep at midnight. Whoo!

Heather Rae El Moussa and husband Tarek El Moussa took their newborn son Tristan on his first flight in May 2023. The family went on a private jet and Tristan did great. “Tristan did such an incredible job and mom-tip, I breast fed him on the way up and then again on the way down to help with ear popping,” Heather Rae wrote on Instagram. She continued, “It worked perfectly and then the rest of the flight he just giggled, played and looked around and was so happy & didn’t cry once… he loved the new environment 🫶🏻.”

“He was such an angel 🥺 proud mama moment,” she added.

Taking your baby on their first flight can be stressful. But whether they are perfect angels or not, know that every parent deals with this — and traveling will get much easier once they can navigate an iPad!

These celeb families wouldn’t be complete without their furry friends.
