If there’s one thing we know about little sisters, it’s that they always get their way. (My little sister was my dad’s favorite, and you can’t convince me otherwise!) Princess Charlotte had major little sister energy in a resurfaced video of the Platinum Jubilee last year, and it’s so funny.
In a TikTok from the event, Princess Charlotte, now 8, asked her older brother Prince George, now 10, to switch seats with her, per The Independent. In the video, Charlotte points at her brother’s seat, and he turns and looks at her like he’s annoyed. He clearly doesn’t want to move (because why would he?!).
Later, Prince William gestures to his son to switch seats with Charlotte, so she can sit next to her dad. He reluctantly gets up to swap with her, and she sits down with the biggest smile on her face. Yup, that checks out!
Someone commented, “She asks and she shall receive.” Another person pointed out, “George is a very good brother.”
Princess Charlotte is famous for her sassy attitude. Another resurfaced video made its way around TikTok recently, this time featuring a moment from Christmas 2022. She gave a subtle side-eye, which instantly reminded people of Princess Diana.
At King Charles’ Birthday Parade (Trooping the Colour) in June 2023, a body language expert Jude James told Fabuloushow Kate Middleton relies on her daughter to keep son Prince Louis, 5, in line.
“Charlotte told Louis to sit up while Kate leaned forward to straighten his tie. It’s very sweet to see how he responds quickly to orders from his sister,” James said. “The minute Charlotte told him to sit up in his seat he pulled up straight away with no murmur of dissent or argument.”
She added, “When they got back into the carriage we saw Charlotte mirroring Kate when it came to little Louis. As Louis sat between his two siblings, Charlotte watched Kate carefully, and when Kate leaned forward to speak to her small son, it was Charlotte immediately using one hand to signal that he should budge up in the seat.”
So it turns out, she has some big sister energy, too!
