Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Parents Will Reportedly Meet Very Soon & We Wish We Could Be a Fly on the Wall

Red (and yellow?) alert! Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s parents are set to meet for the very first time at a Chiefs game, and we are freaking out!

Entertainment Tonightreported Wednesday that Taylor’s parents Andrea Swift and Scott Swift will meet Travis’s folks Donna Kelce and Ed Kelce at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles game, where Travis and his brother Jason Kelce will be facing off. (Side note: does this mean Jason’s wife Kylie Kelcie and their daughters Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 2, and Bennett, 8 months, will finally get to meet Taylor???).

While the “Cruel Summer” singer and Chiefs tight end have already met each other’s parents — which is a huge dating milestone in and of itself — this will be the first time the parents are meeting each other. It makes you wonder how the parents of these superstars will get along. Will they be enchanted to meet each other? Will they become instant besties? Will they talk about future wedding plans (you know they’re both thinking it)?! The possibilities are quite endless, and Swifties are super excited about it.

“Can you imagine Donna Kelce and Andrea Swift just beaming and giggling together about their superstar children who love each other at Christmas because I CAN,” one person Tweeted.

Another said, “The ratings are going to be higher than the Super Bowl.”

“I am unashamedly living for this Hallmark movie scenario,” someone else posted.

In September, the “Anti-Hero” singer attended her first Chiefs game in a luxury box with Donna, whether they were photographed talking and laughing together. A month later, she hung out with Papa Kelce at another game. Ed later told PEOPLE that Taylor is “a very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman.”

He added, “And I’m just thinking, I don’t think she got the diva memo. She didn’t get the spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot.”

Meanwhile, Donna went to the Eras Tour movie and told PEOPLE, “I did see it and I did like it. It was awesome.” She also called the 12-time Grammy-winner “extremely, extremely talented,” adding that she “was just totally enthralled” with the film.

And last weekend, Travis hung out with Scott in the VIP tent at Taylor’s concert in Argentina, where Mr. Swift, a lifelong Eagles fan, was wearing a Chiefs lanyard.

“Got him over to the good side, baby,” Travis joked on Wednesday’s episode of the New Heightspodcast.

Jason, a center for the Eagles, responded, “You’re gonna let this man’s devilishly good looks and relationship with your daughter sway you from a lifetime of fandom, Scott. This is ridiculous.”

Is it sad to say we are more excited about Monday’s game than we are about Thanksgiving next week? We all know how important parents’ approval is, so this could potentially be a game-changer in Traylor’s relationship. Just three more sleeps until the next chapter in this addicting rom-com!
