On Nov 23, the Listen Hunnay with Jeannie Mai host shared a super-adorable video of her and her daughter Monaco to her Instagram with the caption reading, “Monaco and I wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving!! 🦃🤎”
In the darling video, we see Mai holding hands with Monaco, who’s matching her mama in a black, full-length romper. They say “Happy Thanksgiving,” before Mai shows her mini-me how to baste their marvelous-looking turkey!
Not only has Monaco shown she’s her momma’s mini-me with her daring, colorful fashion sense and hosting skills, but it seems she’s already becoming a foodie like her mom! Seriously, this duo always knows how to capture fans’ hearts with their antics, and we can’t get enough of it!
In late 2021, she confirmed her pregnancy with her now ex-husband Jeezy on an episode of The Real. Then fast forward to Jan. 2022, the pair welcomed their daughter Monaco Mai-Jenkins, 1, into the world.
In a previous, emotional Instagram post, Mai wrote about how being a mother to Monaco has healed a lot of her trauma. “Nobody told me it was going to be like THIS. This one little person could rewind time, reboot all my emotions, and help me learn what I need to unlearn??” She asked, “Are kids chances to heal from our own childhood? feels like olddd deep wounds finally getting treated. God im always crying i can’t take it I needed u @monacomaijenkins.”
