Denise Richards’ Daughter Eloise Makes a Rare Appearance While Celebrating the Season of Giving

Denise Richards and her youngest daughter are already feeling the holiday spirit.

On Sunday, the former Bond girl attended the annual Hollywood Christmas Parade with her 12-year-old daughter Eloise and her husband Aaron Phypers. The mom and daughter duo were decked out in icy blue outfits, with Richards wearing a baby blue and cream-colored shearling moto jacket and Eloise donning an arctic blue t-shirt and puffer jacket.

The family outing marked a rare appearance for the pre-teen, whom the Love, Actually actress adopted as a single mother in 2011. After she and Phypers married in 2019, he also adopted Eloise.

In February 2019, Richards revealed that her youngest child had been diagnosed with a deletion in chromosome 8 when she was 5 years old. During an interview with People, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum opened up about how the chromosomal disorder caused many developmental delays for Eloise, citing the little girl’s inability to sit up on her own or walk without the help of physical therapy as a toddler.

The mom of three explained, “She can only say a handful of words, and there are times when she feels like her age in understanding, and then other times where it feels she’s emotionally 3 years old. It’s been challenging. I’m learning every day because they don’t really have a road map for her particular case.”

Richards added, “Every child is different. You take care of your children no matter what is going on with them. I don’t know if [Eloise] is ever going to talk like a typical child. But as a parent, you want what’s best for your children, and you just do it.” Well said by a strong woman and mama, that’s for sure.

In addition to Eloise, Richard also shares two older daughters, Sami, 19, and Lola, 18, with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen.
