Zoe Saldaña’s rare photos show the truly sweet way this boy mom bonds with her sons!
On Nov 30, the Guardians of the Galaxy star shared a touching photo of her and her sons with the caption reading, “#nintendopartner Kickstarting our holiday season with this special bundle, which includes a Nintendo Switch, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 🥇🏁, and three months of Nintendo Switch Online!! @NintendoAmerica #nintendo It’s race time!!!!”
In the photo, we see Saldaña playing the Nintendo Switch, with her three children around her. They look so happy together, and it truly warms our hearts to see them all cozy and playing beloved video games.
Saldaña and artist Marco Perego started dating in March 2013, marrying only three months later in London. They share three sons together: twin boys Cy and Bowie, 8, and Zen, 6.
In a recent interview with SheKnows for the 2023 Holiday Issue, Saldaña talked about the quality time she spends with her kiddos, and how her partnership with Nintendo came at the eprfect time since this is the year she and Perego let their sons play video games.
“When it comes to rituals and interactions that we can do together, I will do it,” she said. “They were always like, ‘Well, why can’t we play video games?’ And we were quite skeptical, as we should be, with screen time. We wanted to take our time doing the research. It gives us the opportunity to play these games with them … you know, interact, as opposed to just granting them this time and monitoring it. We’re right in the trenches with them playing the game, and it’s become a family event for us.”
