Tom Brady may have once been known for his hard exterior, but he is a big ol’ softie when it comes to his daughter Vivian. The twice-retired quarterback — who shares kids Vivian and Benjamin with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen and son John “Jack” Moynahan with ex Bridget Moynahan — is celebrating Vivi’s birthday today, and his tribute on Instagram is so touching.
“🎉🎂 Happy 11th birthday to the sweetest little angel in my life! 😇” he captioned on the carousel of photos. “Watching you grow into the amazing person you are brings me so much joy.”
The first photo is a selfie of Brady with his youngest. His head rests on her shoulder, and they both have such sweet smiles. The next is a candid he snapped of her sitting at a table covered with candy. She has her eyes closed and the biggest smile — presumably getting ready to enter (or already stepping into) sugar heaven.
“You are always a bright star 🌟 to all of us,” the dad of three continued his caption. “Keep shining girlie girl, and never stop being the special, unique person you are. I Love you to the moon and back! 💖🎈”
Next up is another heart-melting selfie. It’s a closeup of the two standing side-by-side, and you can see in Brady’s eyes how happy he is to have a day out with his daughter. That one’s followed up by a priceless shot of Vivi with under-eye face paint on while holding a football, one of her on the tennis court, and one of her as a little girl posing by a “NO AUTOGRAPHS PLEASE” sign.
The whole thing is so precious and intimate.
Vivi famously hijacked her dad’s Instagram account earlier this year. She took over his Instagram stories to share adorable footage of one of her adopted cats.
“Poke’ is my name – Drinking out of Vivi’s water is my game,” Vivi wrote on a photo of her Siamese mix kitten drinking out of a glass on the counter.
Next was a shot of Poke taking a literal cat nap. “Nap time!!! (Btw this is Vivi 🙂 on Dads phone),” she said. Given her antics, one might think she wrote her own birthday tribute. But there’s no way. That caption had proud dad written all over it.
Bündchen also posted a carousel for her daughter’s birthday today with photos of all their fun times horseback riding, doing yoga in front of the ocean, and touching noses in front of a waterfall.
“Happy birthday my little sunshine! I am so proud of you in every way. Thank you for making my life so much brighter! Te amo muito❤️,” the Brazilian model captioned her post before sharing the same message in Portuguese.
Happy birthday, Vivi! Wishing you another wonderful year of fun with your kittens…and with taking over your dad’s social media. We’ll be waiting for your next takeover!
