Princess Charlotte Stepped Out in the Same Jacket She Wore Last Christmas & We’re Loving This Little Royal Re-Wear

We hate to be those people who notice when someone re-wears the same item of clothing. But we just have to give a round of applause to Princess Charlotte for wearing the same timeless jacket to the “Together At Christmas” Carol Service at Westminster Abbey yesterday that she wore last year. (See photos HERE.)

Is that terrible of us? To call her out for wearing the same thing 12 months ago? Meanwhile, I hope no one notices I wore the same coat two days apart.

Trust us when we say this is not a snub. We love this classic staple piece of hers, and it’s so humanizing to see members of the royal family re-wearing clothes. In our minds, the royal closets are never-ending tunnels and there’s never a need to even look at the same item ever again — much less wear it. But there the Queen of Sass goes! Rocking her deep red peacoat again. We have to know: Is it a fave of hers? Of Kate Middleton‘s? Or was it by royal decree that she wore it again?

Another humanizing and heartwarming moment was when the 8-year-old and her siblings — Prince George, 10 and Prince Louis, 5 — were seen dropping letters to Santa in the mailbox. Oh, what we wouldn’t give to have Santa on speed dial and know what those three asked for. Did their lists look anything like Christina Hall’s son’s list?

We’re going to guess that Prince George, 10 wanted something soccer-related, Princess Charlotte wanted something dance-related, and Prince Louis, 5 wanted anything to make royal events less boring.

This was the youngest of the bunch’s first time at “Together At Christmas” and he looked like he was having a much better time there than at his grandfather’s coronation. (See how hilariously unimpressed he was HERE). He seemed to be up to his usual antics, blowing out the candle his big sis was tasked with carrying.

Last year, Kate Middleton matched with her daughter, also wearing a long burgundy coat. This time around, she opted for a stunning all-white ensemble. And just like last year, Prince William and Prince George wore a burgundy tie and a blue tie respectively.

Princess Charlotte seems to have also worn the infamous coat on Christmas Day 2022 when she was caught with a facial expression that reminded the internet of another member of the royal family. In a viral clip, the young royal is serving some serious side eye à la Princess Diana.

Given how similar Charlotte is to her late grandma, we hope that when she grows out of this peacoat and needs some more red outerwear, she reaches for Diana’s iconic black sheep sweater.
