Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Reveals Her New Talent & We Are Seriously Impressed

After a long day of playing with animals and running the Australia Zoo, 2-and-a-half-year-old Grace Warrior blows off some steam by shooting hoops. That’s right, Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell’s multi-talented toddler is also a mini sports star — and a new video shows off her super cute skills.

“Our little athlete🏀,” Powell captioned a post on Instagram. Grace is wearing a chic denim dress and bright pink tennis shoes as she holds a blue basketball in her hands and gets ready to make a shot. She bends her knees and tosses the ball in the air with both hands. It effortlessly lands in the middle of the hoop, falling through the net as Powell cheers her on, “Goooo! Go Gracie Go!” he says. Grace just smiles, looking so proud of herself.

After taking a second to bask in the glory of making the shot, she runs toward the ball to try again. This little girl is such a cutie!

Grace comes by her athleticism naturally. Her dad is a former professional wakeboarder and her mom is a former Dancing With the Stars champion. Of course, her grandpa, the late Steve Irwin, was also athletic — wrestling with crocodiles is not easy (we assume)!

People praised sweet little Grace in the comments section. “The Irwin’s [sic] no matter what age has so much talent 🥹,” one person commented on the video.

“She is very coordinated especially for her age! I love watching her,” someone else noted. “one minute they’re taking their first breath and the next they’re shooting hoops 🥹,” another person wrote.

The Australian professional netball team (like basketball, but with no backboard or dribbling) New South Wales Swifts commented, “I think we see a future Swiftie in the midst 🔥.”  You never know!

In a previous interview with Stellar Magazine, per Daily Mail, Irwin opened up about the challenges of raising a daughter. “Becoming a mother changes your perspective on life, and being a girl mum brings its own set of obstacles,” she said. “I feel a sense of enormous responsibility to raise our daughter to be an empowered woman.”

We have no worries that Grace will be an empowered woman one day, just like her mama.
