Meghan Trainor’s son Riley doesn’t just color outside the lines — he leaves the whole paper behind! The 2-and-a-half-year-old scribbled all over his face recently, and his super sweet demeanor will melt your heart.
“Did you play with markers?” the Mother singer asked her son in a recent TikTok video. Riley, who looks adorable as always with his red hair and teal blue glasses, cutely responds, “Yeah.” He turns and tries to walk away.
“Did you get it on your face?” she asks, and Riley quietly responds, “Yeah.”
“Just a little bit? Let me see,” Trainor adds. Riley then turns and smiles a big, toothy grin, puts his hand in his mouth and scrunches up his face to show his mom the damage. There is a blue marker all over his cheek and nose, which somehow makes him look cuter than ever. How can he make even annoying toddler shenanigans look so precious?!
She turns the camera to selfie mode, where he stares at himself. “You see it?” Trainor asks her son. “Yeah,” he says again, understanding his mom, but still clearly admiring himself. He’s probably thinking it’s no different from makeup, so why is it a problem?
“Markers aren’t for your face, silly!” she continues. “They’re for the paper.”
“The paper!” he confirms.
She then encourages him to say, “Uh-oh, Spaghetti-Os,” which he repeats flawlessly. Yeah, this boy is never going to learn what time-out is, because he is just so stinkin’ cute. How can anyone resist that little voice and that adorable face?!
Even Trainor isn’t immune to his cuteness. “The ‘yeah’ melts my heart everytime 😭❤️,” the Wrap Me Up singer captioned the post.
Trainor’s husband Daryl Sabara commented on the video, “Yeah 😇.”

Trainor shares Riley and baby Barry, 5 months, with Sabara. In an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show earlier this month, Trainor opened up about her one wish this season.
“All I want for my birthday is a full-blown photo shoot. Like a Christmas edition, and then like a regular photo shoot,” she told host Kelly Clarkson. “Because they’re just so delicious and cute right now.”
She added that Riley “walks around the house every day like ‘wrap me up.’ Yeah, he sings our songs,” she said, referring to her new holiday hit with Jimmy Fallon.
