When your parents are well-known actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, it’s understandable that you’d want to go into acting yourself. While many expected Suri Cruise to enter the fashion world or the music world, considering the reports that many have heard about her love for artistic crafts, it turns out she has a penchant for musical theater!
Per Page Six, Suri starred in her high school musical! (We’re not going to say which one to keep her anonymity because we’re sure she’d like it that way!) But we do know that onlookers said she was “amazing” in her starring role.
And since she’s the daughter of two A-listers, many would assume she’d proudly show off her last name. But it was quite the opposite! According to witnesses who told the same outlet, her senior bio didn’t discuss her parents, and she omitted her last name!
We love that Suri is showing off her natural acting chops during her senior year of high school, and who knows? Maybe that’ll be the path she goes down! But throughout her life, she’s taken ballet lessons, guitar lessons, and singing.
Per DailyMail, she’s considered majoring in either music or fashion when she enters college, but maybe that’ll change to acting? Any way she goes, we’re sure she’ll be great at it!
Holmes and Tom started dating in early 2005, and within a year, they welcomed their daughter Suri Cruise on April 2006 (and married seven months later). Later, Holmes filed for divorce from Tom in 2012, and since then, Suri has reportedly been estranged from Tom (but he does give a substantial monthly child support payment).
