If you’ve been Keeping Up With Saint West, you know that the 8-year-old is going through a bit of a controversial phase. For some people (read: us) his actions are pretty fair and hilarious, but for others (read: his mom Kim Kardashian), they’re absolutely unacceptable.
Because Saint West has started flipping off the paparazzi. It’s become his signature move at this point and it seems to be catching on. After all, who needs to do a princess wave when you can do a Saint middle finger? Of course, his actions have brought out Kim’s mama bear side. She’s been seen quickly scolding him and shielding him from the cameras that lurk outside his basketball games and, well, wherever he goes.
And while we know his middle finger action isn’t what most people would consider age-appropriate behavior, the stalking has to get a bit old. So why not let that thing fly?!
Kardashian must be thinking the same thing at this point because she was just seen flipping off photographers when leaving a skincare clinic in Los Angeles. Looks like the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Or, in this case, maybe the tree doesn’t fall far from the apple?
It’s easy to point, er, fingers at who started this trend. While Saint has certainly been letting the birds fly recently, it turns out his big sister North — who Kardashian also shares with ex-husband Kanye “Ye” West along with kids Chicago, 5 and Psalm, 4 — favors her middle finger too. During an episode of The Kardashians, the mom of four revealed that North frequently used the nonverbal “eff you” during a photoshoot for their holiday card in 2021.
“Most of the photos I saw were unusable because North was sticking out her middle finger,” Kardashian said. “Taking a family photo is the most stressful time in my life, like no matter what.”
But now it looks like flipping the bird is a family affair, and we’re begging Kim to trash whatever holiday cards she has and take a new photo where they’re all posing with their middle finger up— in a festive manner, of course. (Maybe with a little Santa hat on there?) Because at some point during the holidays, we all just want to say “f*ck it.”
These celebrity parents have shared hilarious (and relatable) stories about their kids and curse words.
