Only three days into 2024, and it’s already getting messy. Specifically, Aaron Rodgers made either a joke or statement (honestly, we couldn’t tell) about Jimmy Kimmel sweating over the idea of Jeffrey Epstein’s list being released. Safe to say, Kimmel is clapping back and making his family’s safety a number one priority.
On Jan 2, Kimmel posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, in response to Rodger’s claims. He wrote, “Dear Aasshole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any “list” other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality. Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court. @AaronRodgers12.”
This feud started when, on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers said at one point, in response to Epstein’s list reportedly becoming public knowledge soon, “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel are really hoping that doesn’t come out.” And the tweet above was Kimmel’s response.
Epstein’s list refers to the list of 150 names found in court documents that are linked to being associated with Epstein. For those who don’t know, Epstein was a prominent financier who was found guilty of sex trafficking minors for decades. He died in 2019 by suicide, and since his trial, many have wanted to know the prominent figures who have been associated with him and his criminal activities.
Now, many names have been thrown around who could be associated with Epstein, but Kimmel has never been mentioned until now, by Rodgers, who didn’t have any proof to say in the show. Kimmel has previously called out Rodgers in the past for his theories on COVID-19 and aliens, but this is the first time legal action has been discussed.
We can imagine how hard it must for Kimmel’s family to be at the center of this joke, and we’re sure Kimmel is ensuring his family stays a priority amid this rift.
Kimmel has four children in total. He shares two children with ex-wife Gina Maddy named Katherine, born in 1991, and Kevin, born in 1993. He also has a daughter named Jane, born in 2014, and a son named William “Billy,” born in 2017, with his wife Molly McNearney.
