Dear Reader, prepare yourself for some waterworks. In a now-viral TikTok posted last month, the most thoughtful grandson ever gave his unsuspecting grandma the gift of a lifetime.

“It’s not a moving living thing is it?” Barbara Rieco asked nervously when he handed her the gift bag.

Under a mountain of tissue paper, she found a book. Rieco immediately covered her face and started silently crying, overcome by emotion: It was the children’s book she wrote in 1972.

“She’s been working on this book her whole life but coud never get it published,” Chad Cooper wrote over his video. “So we designed and published it for [her].”

“This is probably the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me in my entire life,” Rieco told Cooper. “In my entire life, this is the nicest thing.”

Told ya it’s a tear jerker!

More! More! More!

Written by Barbara Rieco, Illustrated by Yuri Moyashi

The book — titled More! More! More!is a true story about an impoverished little girl Rieco met while living in Appalachia. “Prissy Miss had everything a little girl could ask for, but she always wanted more … until she is befriended by a poor little girl who teaches her gratitude and the joys of make believe,” the description says.

More! More! More! is now available at major retailers and has amassed hundreds of 5-star reviews on Amazon and Goodreads.

“My 12 year old daughter who really doesn’t read picture books anymore read this and loved it. It teaches a nice lesson to be happy for what you already have. I highly recommend it.”

“Every kid should have access to this book. Great lesson to be learned.”

“This book is so pure and wholesome … Also, the book rhymes! Perfect for tiny tots. The illustrations are also freaking stunning. I kept saying, ‘No, THIS is my favorite page. No wait, this one. Ahhh, okay actually this one.’ Excellent problem to have. Definitely recommend! 🥰”
