Succession‘s Sarah Snook Finally Revealed Her Baby’s Sex Nearly a Year Later at Golden Globes

Sarah Snook may have taken home the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Series last night, but we’re sure the achievement was not the one she’s most proud of from the past year. No, for Snook, we have to imagine it was becoming a mom. The Successionstar welcomed a baby in the spring of 2023 and said the same thing about becoming a mother as she did about the show.

“I just watched the final episode of the final season of something that has changed my life,” Snook wrote in her birth announcement on Instagram in May 2023.

In the photo, Snook looks at a TV that has Succession season 4 geared up. Next to her, is a baby’s head, also facing the screen. “And now, my life has changed again. Thank you for all the love and support.”

And though she repeated part of that sentiment in her acceptance speech last night — “This show has changed my life!” — she has remained pretty mum on the topic of her infant. That was until she hit the red carpet, revealing that she loves motherhood.

“She’s the best,” the actress said of her baby, per People.

OMG! A casual little sex reveal. After all this time, fans found out that Snook and her husband Dave Lawson welcomed a baby girl.

A baby girl who has learned how to stand! “[She’s] not walking yet, but she’s standing supported.”

“She’s great. I love her,” the Australian actress continued.

The HBO series and the kiddo have been intertwined since day one. Spoiler alert: Snook’s character is pregnant in the show at the same time as she is IRL. And Snook announced her pregnancy to the world at the premiere of the final season in March 2023. The mom-to-be stepped onto the carpet in a fitted black jumpsuit, proudly showing off her baby bump.

“It’s exciting!” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I feel great.”

And we have to imagine the award-winning mama feels the same way today. Congrats to the girl mom (!!) whose personal performance and overall show swept the Golden Globes.
