As the quarterback of the Super Bowl-winning Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes has to miss a lot of special moments with his kids. Just last month, he had to miss Christmas celebrations while preparing with his team to play a pivotal football game.
“I’m a little disappointed I’m going to miss Christmas Eve with my kids and Christmas morning and miss Santa coming,” the NFL star told Pro Football Talk at the time.
So it must make all the little moments he can spend with his kiddos — Sterling Mahomes, 2 and Bronze Mahomes, 1 — all the more special. Last night, his wife Brittany Mahomes shared the cutest picture on her Instagram Story (and Patrick reshared it!) of the NFL star cuddled up with his little ones reading the story Good Night, God.

And yes, if you hadn’t already surmised, the “First Family of Football” was reading it before Sterling and Bronze went to sleep. And the kids weren’t the only ones in their pajamas! Patrick was also rocking his SKIMS loungewear. Back in Nov. 2023, Kim Kardashian’s company famously launched a campaign with the Mahomes family, and the photos of them in their matching outfits are absolutely precious.

After a sweet moment like that, we have to imagine Sterling and Bronze had sweet dreams. And now Patrick and Brittany have a heart-warming core memory to hold onto.
