Jason Kelce was dubbed the Kansas City Chiefs’ “NO. 1 HYPE MAN” yesterday by none other than the Chiefs themselves when he had an epic celebration after the NFL team scored their first touchdown against the Buffalo Bills in their playoff games. The center for the Philadelphia Eagles ripped off his shirt and started cheering in support of his brother Travis Kelce.
It’s unclear why men always feel the need to remove their shirts to celebrate, but what’s very clear is that Chiefs and Bills fans alike (and Swifties who were just watching for Taylor Swift sightings) thought the display of brotherly love was hilarious.
Photos and videos of the NFL player’s shirtless shenanigans quickly went viral, and the adults weren’t the only ones to weigh in on the antics. His daughter Elliotte — who he shares with wife Kylie Kelce along with daughters Wyatt, 4 and Bennett, 11 months — had commentary of her own.
After the game, Jason posted a photo on X of what we’re guessing is Kylie’s phone. On it, a text from “Maaaa” (Kylie’s mom?) is circled.
“Ellie said ‘Dad’s boobs are showing’!” the text said.
His boobs!!! At just 2 years old, Elliotte has no problem roasting her dad who weighs nearly 300 pounds.
One follower replied to the Tweet saying, “Wonder what Wyatt said?” And same! Jason’s eldest daughter is known as the “ring leader” of the Kelce girls and is never afraid to tell it how it is.
“Dad, you didn’t win,” Wyatt immediately told him in the hotel room after the 2023 Super Bowl. “… Uncle Travvy winned.” So what was she saying last night? “Dad, you had your ‘boobs’ showing … Uncle Travvy didn’t have his boobs showing.” And so the comparing of the brothers continues.
Followers also can’t wait for the next episode of the brothers’ podcast, New Heights, where they will no doubt talk as much about Jason’s “boobs” as they do about the big win. Because even though the podcast is technically about football, they often get incredibly personal.
Just last month, mom Donna Kelce admitted that Travis was “a leash kid.” As a toddler, they had to put him on a “leash” when they were at crowded public events because he was known for running off. After last night’s display, we have to wonder if Donna was thinking Jason might need a leash of his own. Because as if going shirtless wasn’t enough, he also jumped from the family’s box seats, into the stands where he received a mixed welcome from Bills fans.
Will he be forcibly reined in this weekend when the Chiefs take on the Baltimore Ravens? The internet sure hopes not (these videos are gold!). Will Jason need to bring jeans for Jason (IYKYK)? Yes. Will he be goaded into wearing a bra by Elliotte? Well, that remains to be seen. We can’t have this girl dad embarrassing one of his daughters!
