Baby Louetta “Lou” Isley has officially been out of her mom Rumer Willis’s womb for as long as she was in it! The baby girl recently turned 9 months old, and her mom celebrated by sharing the most adorable videos, including one revealing the latest milestone Lou has reached.
“9 months in 🌱 … 9 months out,” Willis, who shares Lou with partner Derek Richard Thomas, wrote on Instagram. “How did that go so fast…” In the first video, Lou is dressed in a brown onesie with brown knitted pants. You can see her beautiful auburn hair as she crawls like a speed demon, following the family dog and babbling the whole time. Lou is adorable — and growing up so quickly!
Growing Up Fast
The Sorority Row actress also shared a video of Lou playing with another dog, who is taking a nap and seems totally unbothered by Lou crawling all over him. She just coos as she plays, and it’s so cute. In the last video, Lou sits in a play pen, quietly playing with stuffed animals and other toys.
“I love you Lou,” Willis says in the video. “You big girl!”
Interspersed throughout the carousel of videos of Lou now are two glimpses of Willis when she was 9 months pregnant. The first is an ethereal photo of Willis in a bathtub filed with pink flower petals that cover her bump. The second is a video of Willis sitting cross legged in blue pajamas as she rubs her bare bump.
Sweet Comments
Fans couldn’t believe how big baby Lou is either. “Go, go, go, Lou! Look at her crawl – just precious,” one person said.
“Omg, already?! God Bless your little precious one ❤️” someone else wrote. Another person said, “Wait … slow down! Tooo quick 😍❤️😍.”
“Soooo fast! I have one kiddo, who’s all growed up,” a mom wrote. “How does time go so slow when you’re a child, but watching your own child grow goes by in a blink!! ❤️❤️”
Thomas also commented on the post with his little girl, writing, “❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Potty Training
The House Bunny star has been open about her daughter’s growth and achievements over the last 9 months. Like earlier this month, when she appeared on The Villagepodcast to reveal she has already started potty training her daughter — yes, really!
“It’s incredible. It’s so validating,” she said about starting potty training. “We got a little potty. Derek even has a little potty song he plays for her.”
“It’s so silly, but it’s all about taking your baby’s cues,” Willis continued. “Mind you, I have the privilege right now that I’ve gotten to spend every day with her. I haven’t had to go back to work, so I totally understand that there are challenges that way.”
She shared that her daughter would make “funny faces” before she would poop, so they decided to start putting her on the potty seat. “We got this little potty and when she would make the face, we would just pull her diaper off and sit her on it. Now if I catch it, it’s so delightful. Babies have bodily awareness, so they don’t want to poop themselves.”
Such an impressive little girl!
These wild celebrity birth stories are dramatic, hilarious, and utterly eccentric.
